1. Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban

The Hollywood power couple sold their 36-acre country house in Franklin, Tennessee last month. The four-bedroom house sits just 25 miles outside Nashville. Among their other many residences are a duplex condo in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood, a penthouse in Sydney, a house in Beverly Hills, and a 12,000-square-foot mansion in Nashville.

2. Elizabeth Taylor

A six-bedroom house in Beverly Hills that once belonged to Elizabeth Taylor and her second husband, Michael Wilding, listed over the summer for a whopping $15.9 million. Boasting extraordinary views of Los Angeles as well maximum privacy, the gated Beverly Hills estate provided refuge for the couple during their marriage in the 1950s. A divorced Taylor unloaded the posh pad in 1957.

3. Kate Middleton

The cozy London flat where the future queen lived before marrying Prince William listed just this week for $2.5 million. The apartment was originally purchased by her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton in 2002 for around $886,000. Spanning two floors, the flat has two bathrooms in addition to its three bedrooms and features a double reception room and a small kitchen.

The pop star and beauty mogul listed her Los Angeles contemporary for $7.4 million only a year after purchasing it. The 7,000-square-foot dwelling sits on half an acre, boasting six bedrooms and ten baths. During her short ownership of the residence, Rihanna updated it with top-of-the-line systems, including a movie theater and a fully equipped gym.

5. Robert Redford

The legendary actor listed his 5,000-square-foot Napa Valley estate in October for $7.5 million. The property, called Danza del Sol, three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. A detached 900-square-foot studio—created for Redford’s wife, artist Sibylle Szaggars—features glass garage doors plus a full bathroom and office.

6. Alex Rodriguez

The former Yankees slugger listed his architecturally significant house on the Sunset Strip for $6.5 million. The 3,7000-square-foot residence was originally designed by Honnold & Rex in 1954 as part of Architectural Products magazine’s “Research Houses” program and was later updated by Xorin Balbes, a Los Angeles designer.

7. Shonda Rhimes

The creator of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal put her stunning 8,000-square-foot Los Angeles property on the market for $10 million. Rhimes bought the 8,300-square-foot house in 2010 from Grammy Award winning–musician Beck. Built in the 1920s, the home boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and three half bathrooms.

8. Meryl Streep

The three-time Oscar winner listed her 4,000-square-foot Tribeca penthouse in August for $24.6 million. The luxe apartment is in a stately building designed by Tsao & McKown and is surrounded on three sides by a 10-foot-wide terrace overlooking New York Harbor. The apartment features a private keyed elevator that opens directly into the unit.
