VIDEO: Tour Adam Hunter’s Ethereal Home Theater at the Galerie House of Art and Design

Sheathed in a starry Fromental wallpaper made using real diamond dust, the otherworldly space is an epic party spot

“I see this room as sort of a respite or an escape,” says Los Angeles–based designer Adam Hunter of the home theater he created at the Galerie House of Art and Design in Sag Harbor. The epic gathering spot features a vast floor covering called Transcendence, made by the Rug Company in collaboration with Hunter, which is topped with a sculptural Vladimir Kagan sofa and chairs from Holly Hunt plus a James Magni table. Made using real diamond dust, the starry Fromental wallpaper—part of Hunter’s debut collection with the brand—creates an otherworldly effect where cinephiles can enjoy movie night utilizing the Tech Lifestyles audio system, Steal Acoustics speakers, Epson projector and Elite Screen, programmed with Control4 devices.
